[July 1st Forum] Fully Grasp the Essence of the Great Party Building Spirit

　　General Secretary of the Supreme Leader pointed out in his important speech on 1 July: "One hundred years ago, the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s pioneers founded the Communist Party of China (CPC), forming the great spirit of party building, which is the source of the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s spirit." The great party-building spirit is the spiritual source of the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s eternal advancement and strong vitality. Only by profoundly understanding the essence of the great party-building spirit can we inherit and carry forward the great party-building spirit and let it shine in the light of the times.

　　Stick to the truth and ideals.Adhering to the truth means adhering to the scientific truth of Marxism, and adhering to the ideal means adhering to the lofty ideal of communism and the common ideal of Socialism with Chinese characteristics. The great party-building spirit should first express the guiding ideology and its ideals and beliefs that the Communist Party of China (CPC) people adhere to. It is with their faith in Marxism, socialism and communism that the Communist Party of China (CPC)’s pioneers can constantly push the party’s cause from victory to victory. Since its founding, our party has regarded Marxism as the soul and banner of the party, as the fundamental guiding ideology for building the party and the country, and as the lofty ideal and the highest goal of struggle, and has made unremitting efforts for it. The truth of Marxism and the ideal of communism guide the people of communist party to overcome difficulties and forge ahead all the way. Li Dazhao firmly believes that "the highest ideal in life lies in seeking truth"; Xia Minghan was unyielding in prison, and wrote in his letter to his wife the heroic words of "persisting in the revolution and following my ambition, and vowing to spread the truth to the world"; In prison, Fang Zhimin wrote immortal chapters such as "Lovely China" and "Poverty", and issued a clank oath that "the enemy can only cut off our heads and never shake our faith". The scientific truth of Marxism and the lofty ideal of communism have guided generations of the Communist Party of China (CPC) people to advance wave after wave, and with their struggle, dedication and sacrifice, blood and life, they have created an immortal spiritual monument of our party.

　　Practice the initial heart and take on the mission.Seeking happiness for the people of China and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation is the initial intention and mission of the Communist Party of China (CPC) people, the sacred duty entrusted to the Communist Party of China (CPC) people by history and people, and the concentrated expression of our party’s nature, purpose, ideals, beliefs and goals. Since its establishment, the Communist Party of China (CPC) has shared the fate with the people of China and the Chinese nation, shouldered the initial heart and mission of seeking happiness for the people of China and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, United and led the people in arduous struggles, made great achievements in revolution, construction and reform, and wrote a magnificent epic that swallowed mountains and rivers. The fundamental reason why our Party has been able to rise constantly after setbacks and go through hardships and be hardened into steel, unite and lead the people to overcome difficulties and make great sacrifices, and write the most magnificent epic in the history of the Chinese nation for thousands of years is that the Communist Party of China (CPC) has always adhered to this initial mission. The initial heart is easy to get, but it is always difficult to keep. Today, the Chinese nation is moving towards a great rejuvenation at an unstoppable pace, and the Communist Party of China (CPC) is uniting and leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country to March into a new road to catch the exam towards the goal of the second century. This is the time when it is more difficult and more dangerous to advance, but if you don’t advance, you will retreat and have to advance. The mission before us is more glorious, the task is more arduous and the challenge is more severe. At this time, we must always nourish the initial heart and lead the mission with the party’s innovative theory, realize the initial heart and inspire the mission from the extraordinary history of the party, temper the initial heart and sharpen the mission in the serious inner-party political life, and thus turn the initial heart mission into the spirit of forging ahead, pioneering and innovating, and the driving force of hard work and hard work.

　　Not afraid of sacrifice and heroic struggle.Fear of sacrifice refers to the indomitable spirit of communist party people who devote themselves to their ideals and sacrifice their lives for righteousness; Heroic struggle refers to the heroic spirit of communist party people who are not afraid of difficulties, obstacles and bloodshed in order to save the country and the people and revive the nation. Comrade Mao Zedong once pointed out: "Since ancient times, there has never been a group in China that, like communist party, did not hesitate to sacrifice everything and how many people to do such a big thing." General Secretary of the Supreme Leader pointed out: "In dealing with all kinds of difficulties and challenges, our party has tempered its character and quality of being fearless of strong enemies, risks, struggles and victories." Since its establishment, the Communist Party of China (CPC) has encountered numerous difficulties and obstacles, experienced numerous tests of life and death, and made great tragic sacrifices. With the dauntless spirit of "making more sacrifices and daring to teach the sun and the moon to change the sky", it is not afraid of strong enemies, risks, struggles and victories, and has shaped one historical monument after another. Among them, a large number of revolutionaries and heroes who are not afraid of sacrifice and heroic struggle have emerged. For example, in the face of white terror, Zhao Shiyan, a famous leader of the workers’ movement, firmly stated: "communist party is the party fighting … … As long as the party exists, it must fight for a day, and it is not willing to participate in the struggle. What is the Communist party member! " After his arrest, he made a generous statement: "People with lofty ideals have spared no expense, and the seeds of revolution have spread all over the country, and they will surely grow sturdily.Communist party will surely win "; After Chen Yannian was arrested, he would rather die than surrender. On the execution ground, he held his head high and refused to kneel down, shouting: "Revolutionaries are aboveboard and regard death as death, only standing and dying, never kneeling down"; In the Xiangjiang Campaign, Chen Shuxiang, the commander of the Red Thirty-fourth Division, led less than 1,000 people in the whole division to fight against his formidable enemy for four days and five nights, winning precious time for the Red Army to cross the river. After being captured, he twisted his intestines on a stretcher and sacrificed heroically. The revolutionary heroism displayed by revolutionary martyrs who are not afraid of sacrifice and fought bravely is the source of strength for our party to overcome all difficulties and obstacles and win the struggle in the past 100 years, and it will surely become a powerful driving force to inspire all party member cadres to overcome risks and challenges and achieve the ultimate goal in the new journey.

　　Be loyal to the party and live up to the people.Loyalty to the Party means loyalty to the Party’s revolutionary cause and class. The General Secretary of the Supreme Leader pointed out: "Our party has gone through numerous dangers and hardships along the way, but no difficulties have overwhelmed us, and no enemy has been able to defeat us, relying on the loyalty of Qian Qian and party member." To live up to the people is to live up to their choices and trust. Being loyal to the party means being loyal to the people and the people’s demands. The important speech of "July 1st" pointed out: "Jiangshan is the people, and the people are Jiangshan. Fighting and defending Jiangshan is the people’s heart. The Communist Party of China (CPC) is based on the people, the blood is in the people, and the strength is in the people. " The Communist Party of China (CPC) has never changed his true colors after many hardships, and his fighting spirit has become stronger after many hardships. The fundamental reason is that the Communist Party of China (CPC) is the people’s political party, always loyal to the revolutionary cause of the proletariat, and does not live up to the great trust of the people. Over the past 100 years, countless people in the Communist Party of China (CPC) have been determined to share their worries for the party, do their duty for the country and contribute to the people. They have the courage to bear hardships, difficulties, burdens and risks, and have interpreted communist party people’s infinite loyalty to the party and love for the people with practical actions. For example, after ten years in Tibet, Kong Fansen devoted himself to serving the people, leaving only eight yuan and sixty cents’ legacy, but he left the rhetoric that "the highest state of love for a communist party member is to love the people"; Gu Wenchang is loyal to the Party and works hard for the people. He often said, "A person should have great ideals when he is alive and do good things for the people.Struggle for the people for life "; Lan Tianye, the winner of the "July 1st Medal", used his life to stick to and practice the belief of "obeying organizational arrangements, listening to the party’s words, following the party, and artists should serve the people". Qian Linzhao, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, was over 70 years old when he applied to join the Party. He wrote in his application for joining the Party, "I am really older, but I still want to be educated by the Party under the leadership of the Party in my lifetime, and I can do something for the people. There is no age limit for being loyal to the people. " It can be said that loyalty to the Party and failure to live up to the people has become a spiritual gene deeply integrated into the spiritual blood of the Communist Party of China (CPC) people and reflected in the noble behavior of the Communist Party of China (CPC) people from generation to generation.
