Animal manure electric power Japanese enterprises develop bio-natural gas power generation devices

People’s Daily Online, Tokyo, April 10 According to the website of Asahi Shimbun, Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. of Japan is developing a bio-natural gas power generation device that can generate electricity by using animal droppings such as chickens and cows. The biggest selling point is that it can generate electricity independently and provide natural gas when there is a power outage. The company plans to sell this power generation device to India, which has a huge overseas market, in 2021 while meeting the needs of Japanese dairy farmers.

It is reported that Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd., which is involved in auto parts manufacturing, also operates thermoelectric supply products for ordinary families and uses gas engines. It intends to promote the popularization of gas engines and the industrialization of bio-natural gas power generation.

The small natural gas generator developed by the company is about 1 meter high, 70 centimeters long and 40 centimeters wide. The raw material for producing natural gas is animal manure, which is a headache for farmers. The generator can not only effectively treat feces, but also generate electricity to illuminate chicken houses and cowhouses. It can be described as killing two birds with one stone.
