People’s Daily, Beijing, May 7 (Reporter Ding Yiting) In Ordos, Inner Mongolia, the construction of the world’s largest "Shagehuang" wind power photovoltaic base project is busy; Fuqing, Fujian, the world’s first demonstration project of "Hualong No.1" passed the completion acceptance; Hainan Wenchang sea area, China’s first far-reaching offshore floating wind power platform "CNOOC Guanlan" completed offshore installation … … Since the beginning of this year, a number of non-fossil energy projects have been accelerated, and the green and low-carbon transformation of energy has achieved remarkable results.
According to a recent report released by China Electric Power Enterprise Association, by the end of March, the installed capacity of full-caliber power generation in China was 2.62 billion kilowatts, of which the installed capacity of non-fossil energy power generation was 1.33 billion kilowatts, up 15.9% year-on-year, accounting for 50.5% of the total installed capacity, exceeding 50% for the first time. Specifically, 420 million kilowatts of hydropower, 56.76 million kilowatts of nuclear power, 376 million kilowatts of grid-connected wind power and 430 million kilowatts of grid-connected solar power have formed a diversified clean energy supply system.
Investment in non-fossil energy power generation increased rapidly. In the first quarter, the investment in power supply projects of major power generation enterprises in China was 126.4 billion yuan, up 55.2% year-on-year, of which the investment in non-fossil energy power generation was 114 billion yuan, up 62.8% year-on-year, accounting for 90.2% of power supply investment. Specifically, the investment in solar power generation, nuclear power and wind power increased by 177.6%, 53.5% and 15% respectively.
Non-fossil energy power generation technology is in the forefront. China’s wind power and photovoltaic key components account for 70% of the global market share, and the construction capacity of million kilowatt hydropower units leads the world. Nuclear power has formed three generations of large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor technologies such as "Hualong No.1" and "Guohe No.1" with independent brands. 1— In February, the national output of photovoltaic polysilicon and components increased by more than 60% year-on-year, and the export of crystalline silicon battery products increased by more than 156%.
According to the introduction of the National Energy Administration, the next step is to continuously promote the green transformation of energy production and consumption patterns, accelerate the transformation of the main energy from fossil energy to non-fossil energy, and strive to increase the proportion of non-fossil energy consumption by 1 percentage point annually in the next five years; By 2035, 80% of the new electricity will come from non-fossil energy generation.
