Dongfeng Warrior 917 won the first off-road performance certification in China.

On January 19th, it was reported that the first model of Bravissimo Technology-Bravissimo 917 of Dongfeng was awarded by China Automotive Research Huacheng Certification (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.The first cross-country performance certification certificate in China.

The certification includes eight major test items:

The Warrior 917 is loaded according to the maximum designed gross mass of the vehicle. The measured approach angle is 35.4 degrees, the departure angle is 39.6 degrees, the longitudinal passing angle is 26.9 degrees, and the minimum ground clearance is 315mm, which exceeds the full mark standard of 300 mm. It has stronger passability in the face of complex terrain such as steep slopes and obstacles.

Warrior 917 measures the tire contact surface and tire load under the standard tire pressure and light load (3*75kg) to ensure the adhesion of all four wheels. When one side wheel is driving on a bench with a slope of 20, the measured specific ground pressure is 241.35kpa, and the driving index on the ramp is 617.74, which exceeds the full mark standard of 600. It has stronger grip performance and less risk of off-road runaway.

The innovative central virtual differential lock can realize off-road full-time four-wheel drive control, intelligently estimate the best grip and correct the torque distribution between front and rear axles in real time. With a full-time four-wheel drive system and a power output of 1088 horsepower, the Warrior 917 can easily control rough roads.

The Warrior 917 fully demonstrated its rollover stability and strong power under full load. The rollover stability angle was close to 45, and it got full marks. It continued to drive steadily for 1km at a slope of 90%, effectively reducing the rollover risk of vehicles in off-road driving.

After testing, the minimum turning radius of Warrior 917 is only 5.1m, and it can be more agile and flexible in complex environment.

The strength of the Warrior 917 trailer hook reaches the test requirements of twice the full-load mass, and the tensile force is 7.6 tons, which can also provide more efficient safety protection for the vehicles in the same team in the process of outdoor cross-country.

Under the enhanced configuration of IP67/IPX9 protection level of controller and IP68 dustproof and waterproof level of three electric systems, the 900mm wading depth covered by the chassis battery is easily covered, and the sealing performance is good, and it can advance and retreat freely in the water.
